On October 24 Cezariusz Gadzina and Anna Ciborska performed together as part of Exprezz Duo at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage.

“Our music is a meeting of jazz and classical music, which together results in quite a unique effect” explained pianist Anna Ciborska. Renowned Polish composer and jazz saxophonist Cezariusz Gadzina does not hide his fascination with American masters such as Sonny Rollins and Charlie Parker in his improvisations. Exprezz Duo performed before the American public at Millennium Stage pieces by Frederic Chopin, Krzysztof Komeda and their own composition.

During their time in Washington, DC, the artists also took part in the “Conversations in Culture” program at the Delegation of the European Union, where they presented their expertise from “Creative Europe.”
